I love this watch. I've worn it three or four times a week for months. I love the home/travel time zone settings, the fact that it can be submerged in water, and daylight savings time can be turned on and off. It's unfortunate that the alarm is short and relatively quiet -- I wouldn't rely on it to wake me up in the morning -- but used during the daytime as a reminder it works fine for me.

But here's the big problem. I frequently wear very dark denim jeans, and the indigo dye from the jeans has slowly (we're talking twelve weeks here) leeched onto the watch casing. The dye has given it a sickly green cast, especially near the clasp and on the non-shiny band holder. I recently cleaned it with nail polish remover which restored most of the color, but it still looks greener than new. It's my understanding that harsh liquids like nail polish remover will slowly eat away at the band, so that will slowly degrade the watch casing in its own way.

I use the watch enough to buy a second one, but I'll be making sure that one doesn't see much contact with dark denim!

I bought this watch to replace an earlier model with substantially the same gizmos. The two time zones come in very handy when I travel. When I'm not traveling, I keep it so I know what time it is for one of my children living in Europe. I use the timer all the time, so I don't get a parking ticket where there's a meter, when to take a next dose of medicine when that is needed. It has lots of other features, but I dont' use them. What I use are important to me, and they work well. I had my other watch for about 6 years of hard use, went through 2 wrist bands. That's not as long, perhaps as some, but this is not an expensive watch. Plus, it looks good. I have a small wrist, so a woman's watch is preferable to a big clunky mans watch, that looks as if it's hard to lift.

I love this watch... I have a skinny wrist & it fits perfectly... it looks cool with a dark grey band and mauve top highlight color.
It was easy to set up (I'm not good with too many instructions)... I often set the timer to tell me when the time is up for things like...moving the sprinkler, stir the soup,
call my friend, get off the computer, etc... I haven't used the chrono setting yet... I took it to the beach, hiking, grocery shopping..

I confess that I am a straight up fan of Timex watches. I have had several over the years (many). I had a Triathlon when I used to dive and I had that watch for years. So far what I like about this watch is the band and the size of the face. As my reading eyesight is getting worse I wanted a bigger watch face and this one is easy to read and yet not so big you look like your wearing a man's watch. This is a great watch with some excellent features. Love it and would definitely recommend.

The PAW1300-3V is everything a gadgeteer hope for. The atomic green color and the slim design has kept this watch from being too flashy, keeping you from looking like a nerd, yet it delivers everything that it promises.

You probably have already read that the thermometer is not accurate because it picks up your body heat. This is true, but I have found the barometer to be amazing in tracking weather. The barometer chart (which can be used to predict weather conditions) can be set so that it can be displayed on the main screen. The world-time is also a function that not many people have talked about, but I found it to be a very neat feature.

I live in Markham, Ontario in Canada (slightly North of Toronto), which means that I am near the border regions of the atomic tower coverage over in the US. During the first few nights, the watch did had trouble picking up a signal (the watch automatically tries to pick up a signal at night to update the time). If this happens to you, try leaving the watch at different places within your home before you go to bed. Once the watch picks up a signal, it should be able to pick up that signal again next time without much trouble (my watch has synced every night since it managed to pick up the first signal). Even if the watch doesn't pick up any signals during the first few days, I found the time to be accurate within the second.

Some people have complaint about not getting a full charge on their tough solar. It seems this was only true for older generations and the PAW1300 don't seem to have this issue anymore. When the watch arrived during the first few days, the charger indicator was in medium, and I had to leave the watch in the sun, behind a tinted window for maybe 15-20 hours before it goes up to high. Since then the watch had managed to stay on full charge without me putting my watch in the sun too deliberately. I have heard that the "high" level can only be achieved when the watch is at 80-90% charge, so for the first week, be prepared to see your watch on "medium" no matter how much you put it out in the sun.

The watch does have a few slight flaws: the user manual claims that when you are in the dark, you can trigger the back-light by tilting the watch towards you; but this never worked for me. Also, the compass can get a little bit tricky to use. It can give you a good approximate, but if you are to walk 1 mile in the forest according to what the watch say N is, you might end up in NNE or NNW. If your life is on the line, you are better off with a magnetic compass.

My biases first. I'm an old geezer, have to wear glasses to read/drive/see. I love tech gadgets, but am not an early adopter ... I wait for a technology to mature before I adopt it. I'm retired Navy, accustomed to navigation, and the vital importance of precise, accurate, time. I've had cell phones since the 1990s, GPS for several generations of that technology. There are 4 or 5 "atomic" table or desk clocks in my home. When I intend to use my digital camera, I take a photo of my physically largest atomic clock, so that I can synch camera time with "real" time for any purpose that comes up (also take another "time" shot after the camera work) Had a nice Luminox watch, kept good non-atomic time ... until I used a reciprocating saw on a batch of trees that need trimming or removal. The second hand fell off, jammed the other hands. Decided to replace rather than repair it.

Researched the field, decided to get the "Casio Men's PAW1300-3V Pathfinder Multi-Band Solar Atomic Green Watch." Ordered it from Amazon, arrived beautifully packed, several days before it was due. It does what ads say it does ... but not easily. The manual is an absolute necessity. The little multi-language version provided needs to come with a magnifying glass. Get on the web, search for "Casio Operation Guide 3070 (B)" and you will get a nice 15 page manual. Still small print, but usable at home or office. Do NOT use search term "manual"! You get a bunch of manually set and wound watches, not the "Operation Guide" you need.

The problem is, the watch is TOO powerful, TOO versatile. The physical switches on the watch are tiny, and complex. The many procedures require too many setup routines that require too many pushes of too many too small buttons. The procedures are printed in too small type on too small pages of the pocket "Operating Guide" (the manual will probably fit in a real watch pocket, if you cut off the languages you are not interested in, and have pants that have a real watch pocket.)

What it needs is a remote with large buttons, and a large manual to match. A remote that can also be a charger, and hopefully, a "travel clock" that you take with you on nights away from home.

Anyway, I'm keeping it. If I can learn one procedure a week, it will keep me happy for a year, if I should live so long.

It depends for what purpose you want the watch...
1: Style: It have a good sporty look but not very suitable for daily office wearing...So it cannot be said as multipurpose watch..but then no watch is exactly multipurpose...so i will rate 4 out of 5.
2: Comfort: very comfortable. So light that you dont even know that you are wearing anything on your hand. 5 on 5.
3: Built Quality: I will built quality is pretty decent. Strongly built. I have been wearing this watch from last 3 yrs and apart from some blemishes here and there (which comes during daily wear) there is no problem as such. It is not at all delicate watch. I will give here also 5 on 5.
4: Reliability: The most important feature of any watch. You dont want to get late to any meeting because your watch screwed up. So this watch is just EXCELLENT. I am not sure if I stretched my point properly but it never loses even a second. Also its Atomic sensor adjusts the time every night so this watch can never go wrong. I just rely on this watch blindly. I wish I could have given 10 out of 5 here.
5: Features: This watch have everything. From solar powered to atomic sensor, from temp,compass, altitude, pressure everything just perfect. In power save mode, watch blanks off the screen when there is darkness and as you press any button or as you go near any light source it starts. So it saves power..which is again very good. here again i would like to give 5 on 5.

By now I believe you must have made your mind. Again as i said in the begining, it depends on for what you want the watch....

I can't wear-out this watch. I was hopng it would get me through one year on the ground in Afghanistan. That was in 2008. I'm still using it in 2010 and still inflicting punishment on it from Africa to Asia to North America. This watch won't quit on me. I have roughed it up so much that you can't read all the lettering on the buttons anymore, but it still keeps flawless time with absolutely no maintenance. All the component functions appear to work, although I don't use much but the time and compass. The compass function has always been a little squirley. It's hard to lock onto a direction. I wouldn't use it for precision navigation. I don't know how you could build a tougher wrist watch.

My kids got this for me for mother's day. I am so happy with this watch. It is very much like the Swatch Watches I used to sport when I was a kids in the 80's. Only more functional and durable. Just so you know the led light feature is an orangish light, it does not mention this on the description so I thought I would add that fact.

I bought this watch for my daughter as it is a pretty watch and she likes it.
I own a G-shock with solar automic funtion and am very pleased with it. It keeps perfect time and it is very durable.
However, I think this Baby-G is not as reliable as my own.
This watch is supposed to set its analog time automatically whenever the digital time is set, but it does not.
It was a little painful to have had to set the analog time all the way back to 1 hour behind yesterday when the daylight saving time ended. (You can only move the hands forward, not backward).
I did not return this watch only because my daughter likes its appearance very much and I don't want to have her wait for the new watch coming which might have needed couple of weeks.

This watch is very cute and has nice features. However, it is very difficult to see the digital information. I have had this problem with other Casio Baby-G watches. It is so frustrating because you would think they would recognize the problem and stop doing it. If you can live with this drawback, I would definitely recommend this watch. If not, don't even bother ordering it!

I've had this for about a month. Have been in light rain and it still works. I wouldn't take it swimming.
It works fine. Great to take on vacation especially in a plane when you want to know what time it is but your cell phone is turned off. My husband sets it for me since I have little patience for that kind of thing. He doesn't seem to have a problem with it. I don't expect it to last for a long time. I guess I have low expectations and with a watch that costs only .50 I think that's a good thing. I do recommend it.

The watch is really light to carry on the wrist, there`s a lot of different functions you can use, like stopwatch, it displays the hour of 2 different countries, really nice and simple to use.
The only thing I dont know how to set, or I dont know if it has, is the "bip" every full hour...

But in general is really good, I recommend!

After searching for a watch I could use for working out and casual activities, I found this one and couldn't be happier. The band fits even my large wrist with room to spare (I usually have to go for a men's size). It is light weight and I have forgotten I'm wearing it several times today! Setting all the modes was very easy and the directions are clear and basic. For my needs, this is the perfect, basic watch and I'm happy that its still feminine enough to look cute.

Es mi primer Seiko.

Lo primero que tengo que decir es que las fotos se quedan cortas para mostrar lo espectacular que es el reloj.

En lo particular el reloj puede que tenga varias funciones que nunca utilizaré (Las funciones de Yate) pero el solo verlas hace único el reloj y llama la atención de todos.

Lo único que no me gusto es la caja en que viene el reloj, se queda corta para lo bueno que es. Además al compararlo con un Tissot la caja se ve Fea.

Para resumir: ESPECTACULAR!!! y a un súper precio!!

The watch is well built and high quality. However, there are two functions that I do not like. Otherwise I will give 5 stars to it.
The first is the marked number. It has 1 to 16. instead of 1 to 12. This is little bit confused when you need to read the time. The second is the center hand is not for second. It is just used to point to the center. It is never move. The second hand actually is the small hand on the left most circle.

Watchband gets dingy, not water resistant for long - 2under2 - PA
I liked this watch at first -- I am someone who keeps my watch on all the time and it is comfortable and the indiglo light is always nice. It made it through showers etc. but when summer hit and I went swimming (just wading around with my kids, not anything intense) the inside of the face got wet and will not dry out after many days rendering the watch useless. Also on this particular model, the "white" band turns a dirty looking beige after a few weeks of use. If I were you I'd try a different watch or you'll be shopping again soon enough.

Cheaper watch but good price - heatherclaire -
I have had the watch (wearing it) for less than a month and the "pink" part of the face is already fading. It reminds me of something that is colored with a magic marker and the color starts to wear off.

Also, the white band came dirty. And it has since gotten dirtier. But it doesn't feel like the original band. It started out a few shades less white than the rest.

But, for what I paid for it, it runs and that's about all I can ask.

The watch itself is great. Easy to use, extremely functional. The band however is very difficult to keep white. After wearing one pair of dark denim jeans the band discolored and although I have tried many different products it has yet to return to it's true white color. The watch is very light weight and never seems to get in the way of working out or day to day activities. I recommend this highly if you are wearing it during exercising but not for an every day watch.

I bought this watch for my boyfriend (we live in different time zones majority of the time) as a birthday present. People are ALWAYS commenting on what a nice watch it is and asking where he got it from and he loves it almost as much as I do. It works just as well with jeans and a t-shirt as it does when he wears it with one of his suits. Also, he doesn't have to worry about wearing it when he has a shower/does the dishes/jumps into the pool either!
His only gripe is that he wishes it had the date on it and initially it took him a while to be able to read it due to the fact it has no numbers. My only gripe is that it doesn't come in a women's size, as the face makes it FAR to big for a woman to be able to wear.

I just received this watch today and I am very pleased with the initial quality. It is a solid and very masculine watch. The case is a bright reflective stainless steel and the bezel has a nice, smooth ratchet-like click to it when it is turned to measure elapsed time. The band is wide, yet flexible and comfortable. Because it has automatic movement, as instructed in the manual,I swayed it back and forth about 10 times after removing from the box to get it started. The date and time were very easy to set and the sweep second hand really adds an exclamation point to the impression of quality and style. This watch replaced a Tag Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph that I had to return because of quality problems. I will follow up this review at a later time with an update.

Used to size my Invicta Reserve with a 30 MM band which is too wide for the clamp type pin remover. The pins get pushed only so far, then need to be pulled the rest of the way with a pair of needle nose pliers. Jeweler's pliers (no teeth) work best and won't mar the pin so that it can be reinstalled smoothly.

I like this watch. When I got it in the mail, everything was perfect, and the face was indeed nicely large, like I expected. Then I put it on my wrist, and was disappointed with the strap. I was hoping for a strap that was as substantial as the watch face. It's not. The strap is tapered, thin, and short. I considered returning the watch, but before I do, I'm going to try to find another strap for it. One that's nice and wide, and long enough to satisfy. On another note, this is a really good price for this fashion brand. Compared to similar Kenneth Cole watches you'll find at a department store, this would be just a little over half price. Nice!

This watch face definitely grabs attention, and I've even had a few friends comment on it's nice appearance. It's nice to have people notice your watch, however the watch face itself is very light and feels almost as though it's made of plastic. The band doesn't help -- very stiff and low-quality. I know it's only a 0 watch but I still expected it to have a bit more quality than it did. It isn't very comfortable either (due to the stiff band). I'd probably buy this watch again if it were only -, but at 0 there are better watches out there like the ESQ brand by Movado (see my other reviews for a much nicer watch made by ESQ in the same price range)

I had to send back the watch since it presented problems in the crown. When I got in touch with Hanova they asked me to send a photo since it should be fake. Fortunately Amazon accepted the product back. I didn't like the treatment of Hanova since the problem of fake copies is not to be inputed to customers. I don't recomend purchase products of this brand.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

This is my favorite of all my watches. I have many Invictas.

Pros:
I like the way the brown sunray dial reflects light.
It's larger than most watches, but not too big for me(and my wrist is 7")
For me, it is very comfortable for the 1 lb weight, but not for people who want a light watch.
Feels very solid

Cons:
Most likely, any of the 4 screws in the pins in the band can come unscrewed causing the band to come off. I was lucky to see the pin about to come out before it fell. I fully tightened the screws, but they came unscrewed the next day. I would recommend immediately putting a small amount of loctite blue on all 4 screws in the band.
The lume on this watch doesn't last very long (if you like checking the time throughout the night) - not a big deal for me.
Occasionally, if you play w/ the chrono, it may need to be recalibrated to go to zero position. You can easily do this by finding instructions online for calibrating the particular watch movement.

I wanted to get my husband a new watch for his birthday. He's not a fussy guy and I knew he wouldn't want a fussy watch. But I did want to get him a quality timepiece that he could keep for years.

After exhaustive searching this was the clear winner. The minute I saw it I said out loud "now THAT's a cool looking watch". Simple yet stylish. Understated. Substantial. Manly. (Hmm, reminds me of him!). And it's a Tissot. Should keep perfect time forever.

He loves it. He comments regularly how much he likes the weight of it. This is no wimpy watch but it doesn't get in the way of his sleeves. Perfect.

Solid build and construction. The pressure-sensitive glass surface is scratch resistant. The compass uses the hour and minute hand and is easy to read. The altimeter and barometer stays accurate if calibrated. The thermometer uses the bottom plate as sensor, thus is only accurate when the watch is not worn.

After wearing this watch for 1-2 years, I found the digital clock out of sync with the analog clock. For example, the digital clock shows 9:00, but the analog hands show 9:02. A short call to the Tissot Customer Support fixed the problem. They showed me how to re-sync the two. They said it is caused by de-magnetization. Not sure if that is true, but at least I can fix it.

It is a men's watch, but is still wearable on a slender woman's wrist. The strap is adjusted by cutting off the extra rubber with scissors.

Despite several shortcomings, I still find this watch stylish and uilitarian. Many people comment on the watch. It is definitely an attention-catcher.

For me, it was love at first sight - so whatever follows is not really important... I have had this watch for only two weeks, but I feel as if I have worn it for ages. It looks good, and feels good. The instructions in the accompanying miniature booklet are somewhat awkward but once you have read them several times through, you can figure out what to do. Lavishly packed - great as a present - even to yourself!

I like my watch a lot... the fact that it does not have backlight and hard to read at night and the sync thing (dials vs. digital) I can live with.

The fact that it was broken twice already (same exact thing - stuck on stopwatch and not allow returning back to showing the time) is very frustrating, especially since I have it for less then a year.

FYI - Tissot will not talk to you if you have an issue. You will have to use the warranty given by Amazon and it is not good, sorry to say.
Not only that they are not responsive and it took 3 calls and screamin on a supervisor to get a status of the repair but 2 months later the same thing happened again and you have no one to talk to, just the warranty company.
Remember - Tissot will not talk to you and after 30 days Amazon will not talk to you as well.

I agree with another reviewer, the face is a bit busy. It's hard to quickly see the time though I don't have this problem with either of the other 2 chronographs I own. Crown does not screw down so I got to wonder about how waterproof it really is but they warranty it so we'll see. If you have a medium/large wrist then the band that came with it should fit good. With my small wrist the band kept pushing the face off center, cured this with a replacement MARATAC ZULU watch strap that I was able to center. Looking for a black metal bracelet but Wenger does not offer one to match this watch. Does not glow at all in the dark, that's a big disappointment. That said, it's a good looking watch, big and gets a lot of compliments. Seems to keep time very accurately and the second hand for the chronograph is easy to read. I'm hard on watches so I got this as an everyday watch that I can trash and keep my nicer watches looking good. I've had mine about 6 weeks, have worn it every day and it shows no sign of wear, crystal still looks flawless even with the punishment I've dealt it.

Enough has been said about this beautiful, functional watch. Functionally, its a superior watch with more bells and whistles than u would ever expect from a watch (altimeter, barometer, thermometer, compass, atomic sync, solar, timer, chrono, world time EL light etc., etc.,). I would rather like to highlight the aesthetics of the watch. Because, when I was planning to buy this watch, the most important aspect i was looking for was if this watch fits my wrist right (not being bulky) and can be worn anywhere i like to wear (office, weekends, outdoors).

Love the style - Very slim (11.5 mm thickness). Though the watch face is 47.4 mm, it doesn't look all that big on my average sized wrist (probably its because of the slim form factor). Casio avoided the dual display in this watch (as opposed to the other slim pathfinder model PAW2000). Reason is probabaly since this is the first full-functional pathfinder model with a slim case and hence Casio didn't have the technology to do a dual display without compromising on the thickness of the case. But, guess what!, this has helped a bit in increasing the contrast for the display. PAW1300's display is crisp looking than it's pricey cousin PAW2000, as dual display models tend to look dull because of the overlay. And, the compromise of single display is that u won't see the big compass indicator lines, instead will see small indicators on the perimeter of the watch. To me, i will take this to improve my display contrast.

The silver colored bezel neither looks dull nor too shiny, has the right polish and gives an up-scale look for the watch. Durable and sleek construction. Very attractive when you wear it, sure is a head-turner. I have owned older models of pathfinder (PAW1200-1V) and was reluctant to wear to office due to its bulky size (14.4mm thick and 48.9 wide). But, this one I wear to office just as I do for outdoors/weekends. It fits right under the sleeve.

In all, Casio has managed to blend style with substance at the right proportion which satisfies most of us, if not all, who either want to wear this to office or casual or outdoor alike. Buy it, you won't regret it.

I recently recieved the watch from Amazon and was very pleased with it in the beginning. It has many functions that I wanted for backpacking and daytrips in the Cascade mountains of Oregon. As far as I can tell, the timekeeping is exact and the watch updates nightly, even while inside my apartment.
I recently set out into the foothills south of Mt Hood and wanted to use the different features of the watch to assist my explorations. The preset altimeter was off by about 400 feet(you can set it for meters or feet), so I programmed it for the altitude at my campsite. The temp gauge was also off by about 20 degrees so I set it using the gauge in my vehicle. The compass was fairly accurate, but you can adjust that feature as well.
Throughout my climb I periodically checked the compass against the topographic map of the area, and found it to be very close. However, at the peak I found that the watch showed me at 5200' when my map showed the mountain peak at 5046'. Not a huge difference, but I was a little dissapointed. I realize that the altimeter works by reading the barometric pressure so it does have some room for error. When I returned to camp, the watch showed me at 1780' when I was actually at 1600'. The temp was also off by 8 degrees. All in all I am satisfied with this product, though I would not rely on it for pinpoint accuracy. I will continue to bring it on all my future trips, though I will take the readings it gives me with a grain of salt.

As expected Casio did it again. I bought this watch as an addition. I really like how slim it is compared to some of the other models. It does just as advertised. It has a lot of features that you really need to read about in order to fully learn how to use them.

Only thing that I found is that the thermometer is off when you wear the watch, you have to take it off and wait about 5 minutes before you can get an accurate reading.

The one made in Japan. If it's made in China, you've been a victim of the great leap forward rip-off. I have worn the watch for now 1 1/2 years with no issue. The band is in excellent shape and the watch is a pure functional monster. The size is not to obnoxious fitting well and balanced. While on the Tube in London, those UK wankers were staring at it in silent jealousy, knowing I'd kick their bangers and mash if they made a silly comment. While in India, the creepy tag-alongs set their eyes on it with such intensity I became alert and uneasy wanting to ditch it in my pocket. You can have your 1 kilo Rolex and lose your life over it. With this watch, they will know...I will kick their marsala to the other side of Delhi.

Highly reccomend if looking for simple, yet well crafted watch. Bought Tissot after seeing my father's everyday use Tissot watch of 25 years still in great shape due to sapphire and stainless!

What stated off as a love affaid has turned into a nightmare relationship. This watch shortly after my review begain keeping bad time, losing up to an hour a day. When I would reset the time the chronograph hands would start acting strange and someimtes go backwards. Last week I looked at the watch and the second hand was going nuts and was completing a full revolution every couple if seconds which it was keeping the best time since I've had it. Thing was I couldn't stop this even when I pulled the watch setting knob out. When I pulled the knob out it was as if I had done nothing at all, I couldn't stop the irregular movement, change the date or the time. I called my local service center and they will send your watch out for service but if you buy on line there will be no warrenty what so ever. bottom line is buyer beware. spend the extra and buy local and buy something else.

Great for the price (5). The fit and finish is great especially the sapphire crystal face. Very accurate movement. The only downside is that the band tapers, making the watch look smaller than it actually is. It may just have been my particular watch but it was very very difficult to remove the pins on the band. So much so that I had to cut a link out in order to reduce the size.

Looks:
This watch looks amazing. The tachymeter numbers on the bezel looks intricate, and the dual silver/black combination gives a strong, elegant contrast. There have been many times when people look at the watch on my hand, and ask what brand/watch I'm wearing. (I say "Guess", and they take a guess. LOL)

Functionality:
The watch does lose points for functionality though.

1. Tachymeter: Unlike many watches with chrono, here the chrono second hand is not the big/main second hand. (Many watches with chrono use the big hand as the chrono second hand, and use one of the tiny hands on the face/background as the actual second hand). While this inherently isn't a problem, this makes the tachymeter useless. The tachymeter is on the bezel, and would only be useful if the chorono second hand was the big hand that moved along/pointed to the bezel, since a chronograph is an integral part of making tachymeter measurements.

2. The little face/background dials: I would have been much happier if one of the three face hands had been devoted to showing the date. Instead, two of them are for chrono (second and minute), and the third one (get this) is for showing the hour in 24 hour format (in case you forget how to add 12 at night?)

Overall, get this watch depending on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a good looking elegant watch in the 0 range, get this hands down. If you want date/tachymeter/more complicated stuff, this isn't the watch for you.
Me? I'm very happy with this watch, although I wish it did have a date dial.

My fiance wanted a very nice, every day watch for Christmas and this one caught his eye. It has many features, yet not too complicated. He doesn't really use the tachymeter, but the minute timer and hour timer comes in handy. It is a very nice, sharp looking watch. I don't see why the average person would be disappointed in this! This watch is also waterproof, which is nice in case you get it wet.

I own the previous incarnation of this watch for soon 4 years. The quality of it is beyond description. It is not the only nice watch I own, but it one that sits on my wrist most of time. Although having purchased many Invicta watches, this is the first time I have submitted a review. The main reason is that quite a few negative reviews have been submitted to the Amazon forum spanning multiple Invicta products. Some, I thought justified but many comments not. It is important to understand that the Invicta watch company is a marketing machine that happens to sell good products at realistic margins. The good news is that the watches look and feel like a million bucks, the bad news they are not a Jag, Omega or a Rolex. Unfortunately many purchasers tend to forget that they have bought a Mercedes Benz or BMW and should not compare to a Maserati or Porche. Let me get off my soap box and talk about the latest watch I bought.
The Men's Pro Diver 6031 is a great watch for many reasons. The weight and size offers a great balance on the wrist, the blue face catches the eye but is not over the top, looks sporty and trendy. Very similar look and feel like the Rolex Submariner and Omega Seamaster series. I use this watch to work and when out white water kayaking without any problems. The automatic movement intrigues me because for a while the quartz movement was killing the old school watches- looks like a marketing shift is happening, at last. Some purchasers of this watch have complained that the Pro Diver 6031 looses time, honestly this not a bad thing. It's a marginal loss or gain of time, and it takes seconds to adjust on a weekly basis. All in all this is a very good buy for the price paid. It re-affirms that I will continue to purchase Invicta when I see a good bargain.

fine watch horrible buying experience - really disappointed -
The watch I ordered from Amazon (Jomashop)indicated a seven day delivery, which I waited for for 3 weeks only to be informed it was sold out. Jomashop tried to make it up be emailing me a 5 dollar gift certificate!! What do i do with that, attempt to spend more money with a company that could not deliver a product in close to a month time frame and get a whopping 5 bucks off. YHTBKM !! I got a better model by going to World of Watches and the watch was delivered in 2 days!!

Be careful ordering items on here unless you have a lot of patience and really dont need the item anytime soon. To say I was disappointed is a massive understatement. I will not order from here again.

I've had this for three weeks, and I do not have any issues with it. Works perfect, no noises, and does what it says. I am not experiencing any of the issues brought up in some of the negative reviews. I wonder if they are over using it, causing extra wear. Automatic watches can last up to 36 hrs fully wound, so you do not need to use the rotator daily. Also, I have to concur with some of the reviews stating better directions would be nice. The middle plastic piece is supposed to be pulled out to place the watch on it.

This is a good value. It took my 52mm watch with no problem. Winds clockwise and counter clockwise with the touch of a switch. Well, I've had it for about a month now and really like it - so far so good. I must admit though, I scared to swim with for fear water will get under it or cloud up the screen-problems mentioned by other reviewers. If this products works as it should, then it is/will be fantastic. If, however, the problems with the light or water surface, it's a piece of junk. I've had this watch in my collection for a few months and am very happy with it. It has classic TAG styling with a quality feel. I appreciate the GRANDE size of the date display at the 12:00 position, and the case - at 44mm - is larger than the standard FORMULA watches from TAG, which is my preference.

The band is very durable and comfortable. The hour and minute hands are bold, and it is very easy to read this watch at a glance. The rotating bezel is solid with a quality ratcheting action. All of the chrono function hands are red, and constrast nicely against the black face and the other hands. The chrono pushers are also solid with excellent feedback when operating them.

As usual, Amazon delivered the product in record time and in excellent, brand new condition. I too am concerned with the Amazon warranty, which only covers problems with the movement - hence the four stars instead of five. If Amazon offered a more comprehensive warranty, it would earn five stars.

I love my Skyhawk. It's almost the perfect watch.

I bought my first Skyhawk in Tokyo, at the legendary Akihabara. It was a titanium model, and it quickly became my only watch. (OK, we'll ignore my ultra-thin Calvin Klein "airport special", designed to go through metal detectors without setting them off.) I wore it for 6 years, and then I had the misfortune to damage the bracelet. I inquired, and found that I'd have to send it back to Japan for repair, at a ludicrous price. Instead I decided to buy a replacement; this time I opted for this stainless steel version from Amazon.

Why "almost perfect"? Well, as other reviewers have noted, the Skyhawk can only handle whole-hour time zones, and I need to travel to India on business quite often. This is frustrating. On my last trip, a few months ago, I stopped at the watch store in the new Hyderabad airport. I figured that the best place to find a Citizen watch that worked in India would be in India. And I was right - I was able to buy a Navihawk. It doesn't have Eco-Drive, but apart from that it's functionally equivalent to the Skyhawk - plus Indian time zone support! I paid a considerable price for it, but I don't mind: the Navihawk seems to have disappeared from the Amazon Citizen store.

So now I have two Citizen "hawks": a Navihawk, and a Skyhawk. The Navihawk is slightly lighter; the Skyhawk slightly more comfortable. When I'm at home, I pick one at random each morning. But next week, when I head off to Chennai on business, I'll be wearing the Navihawk. Life is good.

Short and Sweet - Tascas -
As an owner of several similar style chronographs, including Seiko and another Citizen Eco-Drive, this is the watch I wear daily. I find this watch exceptional. Some of the complaints others have mentioned seem to be just a little picky in my opinion considering the context. Most of the "cons", like the size of the digital display and fact that it is not back-lit, are addressed in more expensive models such as the JY0040-59L. Subjectively, this is probably more of an issue with those of us with "over 40 eyes" anyway. Yes, the instruction manual could be a little easier to read but after the initial setup, how often are you going to use it anyway?

For the features one purchases a watch of this caliber... style, quality, comfort, reliability, functionality and accuracy (both my eco-drives are better than +/- 5 sec/month!), I don't see how you can go wrong with this watch, ESPECIALLY for the price (I paid 0 for mine). On top of this you get a watch that is as beautiful as it is functional along with the confidence and assurance knowing it's a Citizen! If you're sitting on the fence whether or not to get this watch... buy it, you won't be sorry!

I must say before buying this, i was tracking this watch for over a year. Finally, i bought it and after wearing it i loved it. For some people it may look huge and heavy (it is heavy)...but the looks are soo cool and classy, you can easily forget that. Its worth the money you spend. It as all major world cities names and their time-zone settings. Alarm tone is not too loud, but OK. The back-light is RED and it looks amazing at night. The radium light of the minute-hour hands has a low life, in other words it glows less with respect to the amount of time you be there in the sun/light.All in All its a gr8 watch and it gives correct time too..... ;-)

I'va been an Amazon Customer a way back, and it has always made my comebacks enjoyable, becuase a lot of times, I find great deals like this Promaster SST.
It is big, I don't consider it heavy or burdersome. Once on my wrist, I don't wan't to take it off.

Got this great watch on clearance at JCP for 1.
All the functions work seamlessly and was able to figure all the settings without even opening the instruction manual.
As I have owned the Skyhawk A-T previously, the bracelet quality and overall build quality of this example appears to be much higher quality and the bracelet is much more substantial as is the case. Yes, you give up Atomic time receipt with this watch, but the dial layout, again in my opinion,, is more interesting and easier to read. The red back light, which can be auto on/off, is very easy to use in the dark when in timekeeping or date mode.

This watch was received in good order from Amazon directly. The watch has more protective film than I have seen on any item I have ever seen. I immediately took all of the film to get a good look at my purchase which was a mistake, but I will get to that later. The watch is beautiful.

I took my watch to have it sized at an authorized Movado dealer (found on Movado.com). The person who sized my watch was used to full links and half links. This watch has large one & a half links (1.5) and half links (1/3 the size of the one & a half link). Well the person took the right amount of links out (by chance), though it was all on one side and the watch felt tight because of the way the hidden clasp is designed. Per this person when they sized watches the bottom is usually longer than the top to accommodate most watch clasps. This protocol was used throughout the many trial and error resizes until we hit a near symmetrical (both sided even) of the very first amount of links taken out. So, make sure when you resize have them keep the link removal even because the hidden clasp is symmetrical.

After I got my newly resized watch I noticed small scratches on the bracelet. They were pretty much superficial, though even with Amazon's bargain price this is still an expensive watch. If I had kept the protective film on I bet this would not have happened.

I've had this watch for about a month and wear it every day. It gets scratches mainly on the small highly polished squared on the bracelet because I have it on when I play with my kids, go shopping in the home improvement store, and other watch scratching activities. There is also one small scratch on the brushed area and no scratches on the crystal (the crystal should never get any damage unless you are rubbing it against sapphire or diamond). I wipe the watch down with a jeweler's cloth before I go out and it looks near flawless from two feet away.

From what I gathered from included documentation, Movado does not carry the warranty, Amazon does.

To begin with I love this watch. It looked beautiful when bought in March 09, but within 3 months of relatively gentle use there are scratches all over the gold outer ring around the black dial, as well as on the small squares that form the steel band.

It is a rather expensive watch to get all these scratches so very easily. The shiny new look is no more there and is unfortunately replaced with a scratchy old cheap look.

This might was well be the first and the last movado I would ever get.

Conclusion for 20$, OK deal but not cheap neither considering the quality, That is why I give an average rating.

Gosh this is HUGE! If you like giant pieces on your wrist, this is for you. But if you have a lady's wrist, avoid it like the plague! I myself loved it. It's big but you wont believe how miserable low weighted it is. It's like a plume. It seems even strange to see such a big watch weighting almost nothing. The functions seem alright (I havent's testet them all yet) and the auto luminecence is nice, cause the sensor won't let it bright on shine enviroments. The solar power is awsome cause you won't have to worry on changing batteries. If you're a outdoor sports fan or even if you like a watch that will call everyone attention (and believe me, doesn't matter where you are, this one will) this is for you. But make sure to have another classic one to go to a date or formal meeting, or people will think you're kinda "sporty".

This is a pretty heavy and thick watch. For those of us reaching a certain age, the crystal is a super magnifier of the numbers and watch hands. It's very easy to read from just about any distance.

The best part of this watch, the interchangeable bands: black, coffee, pink, white, and turquoise. The bands are all shiny leather and have a bit of a metal flake look to them, not unlike a deep automotive finish. No tools are required to change the bands, there is a small metal bump on the band, push it inward, the band pin retracts from the hole in the watch, and, boom, the band is released. It takes two minutes to change bands. Of course moving that pin requires some strong fingernails, but it does move. Sweet design.

This is a practical watch. Style is retro, and a bit unusual. The watch is just over one half inch thick, fairly thick for a woman's watch. One inch wide and almost two inches long, the watch is about average size. The face is a nice mother of pearl. The numbers are well machined and attached to the top of the mother of pearl face (they are not inlaid as with a lot of watches). There is no date. This is a simple time keeper with a sweep second hand.

The watch is electric and water resistant to one hundred feet.

If you can find this watch available, it is a beauty.

I have had this watch for a month now. I bought mine from Macys. It is a darker gold than it appears in this picture. The only downside to this watch is this is a unisex watch and I dont want people to think its a mans watch. Also, sometimes the dial gets caught on things and it gets pulled out which of course changes the time. Other than that, I love this watch!

I think Bulova offers some of the nicest men's watches for the money. I was already excited to purchase this watch, but was blown away when I received it. Like many have said, this is a very beautiful watch. If you haven't already checked this out in a local jewelery store, you will be amazed when you actually see it for the first time. This watch is slightly smaller in size compared to its big brother, the Luno. Perfect for men who have smaller wrists. I was looking at this and the Luno, and chose this because it was smaller for my skinny wrist, and it had a cleaner look. Very classy look, but also goes well with casual wear and summer clothes. I have not had it very long but so far the time is perfectly accurate. The woven style pattern on the wrist band draws attention to the watch when wearing short sleeve shirts, but the classic Movado face catches eyes from miles away.

****IMPORTANT NOTE****
I took this watch to a few different mall-based jewelry stores to determine its authenticity. One jeweler glanced at it and said it was real, while another told me they weren't able to determine that in the store. Finally, I took it to a private local jeweler, where they opened the case and determined that this watch is genuinely swiss movement. So, for those of you weary, THIS WATCH IS A 100% SWISS MADE MOVADO. You just don't get the embossed warranty certificate from amazon.com.

Overall I'm happy with the price, the way the watch looks, feels, it's lightweight. AND ITS REAL. If you are looking at a Movado watch, this is definitely a good looking timepiece, and you won't beat this price locally.

This is a big, heavy, good looking watch. I've had tons of great comments about it. It only took about two weeks to break though. The minute hand on the chronograph is stuck. Since no one can really notice it, and it is a feature that is more for show than function I'm not going through the trouble of sending it back. I've read too many horror stories about Invicta's service depts. Also, you can tell the watch is cheaper if you just watch the hands move. None of them tend to sync up or hit their marks correctly on the dial. But it sure is pretty!

Comments: I bought this watch in 2005, and it ran perfectly for 4 years (I replaced the leather band once, and one battery as well). It kept superb time - only a few seconds per month deviation, so I rarely had to adjust it. It finally died after 4 years, with occasional halts then finally just stopped working (even though the battery was replaced, and the Indiglo was bright). From the other comments I see here I may have been a bit lucky, but I liked this watch well enough that I am going to buy another one.

I was disappointed in this watch, but only because I didn't read the specifics and made my purchase on the image of the watch. In the image, the watch face appears black. It is not. It is gray. And I also like thin watches...low profile I guess. This one is a little thicker than I desired. I'm not one to return things, so I'll keep it. I like watches. Simple watches. Watches without numbers that are thin. I have a couple great Seiko's that fit the bill, and I unfortunately thought this was in the same ballpark but at a much cheaper price. This watch is not automatic as advertised. The box and paperwork are clearly marked for quartz watches, so I don't understand how Amazon could have made this advertising mistake. I had returned the watch.

My husband took the watch to a local watch maker who stated the watch had to be defective, there was no way I could have pulled it off otherwise. Amazon has a 30 day return policy so I have no problem with Amazon or the watch. Sometimes online purchases work out, but in this case it didn't. My husband ended up buying me the watch from the local jeweler. Now I have a 2 year warranty and can take it to them for service. To me, that was worth the extra couple of hundred dollars. So, get this watch, but buy it from a local dealer and save your online purchases for smaller items.

I was looking to buy an automatic certified chronometer because I thought I needed the best. Once I got myself down to my right size, I was able to find this little gem. I like the military arabic numeral face look, and this watch fits that bill. But more importantly, this watch represents VALUE: quality for a great price. It is comfortable to wear, easy to read, looks nice, and has a build quality that to me seems very acceptable. Sure, its not an Omega Seamaster, but it is a nice looking, well made watch, and by the way, it keeps very very good time. I have an atomic watch (sets itself to the atomic clock each night) and the seiko has kept within 2 seconds of that time for the past month or so. I can highly recommend this watch. For the price, it is a winner.

Always wanted a black, white and a blue watch for my collection. Bought this silver one to complete my collection and now own a Tag Aquaracer (Alarm & black dial), Omega Speedmaster(Day & Date, Automatic, Silver dial), Omega Seamaster (Automatic, White dial) and Breitling Aeromarine Colt (Automatic, Blue dial) besides a bunch of Bulova, Citizen, Seiko, Timex etc. This is a very good and stunning executive watch complementing formal and office wear. I prefer my blue Breitling Colt otherwise - on most occasions and the Breitling is my favorite watch. The only problem with this watch is (it's an automatic) whenever I decide to wear it after a few days - it take a few minutes to adjust the calendar (day, date, month etc) which is a pain and you need to have something sharp (a pin) handy. I have given up on adjusting the calendar...just sync the time and get going.
No scratches on the glass after almost a year of good use. Keeps accurate time. Not heavy or big sized for my wrist. Simple yet elegant ! Love it !! Time to invest in some Wolf watch winder perhaps for all the automatics :-)

I was looking for a casual watch for a cruise. Something water resistant and not super expensive. I was looking at alot of baby g watches and reading the reviews, which helped me to decide on this one. I noticed the negative reviews for this watch were simply due to a person not understanding the description.

This watch is great. It is super light weight and comfortable. It looks exactly as it does in the picture, only the purple isn't as noticable as it is in the pic because in the picture the watch's light is on. The only time the watch looks purple like in the picture is when you turn the light on, but the light only stays on for a second.

This could fit someone with a rather large wrist. My wrist is on the smaller side, the the band goes all the way around almost to the front. I am considering cutting off the extra part of the band, but hate to do that. The watch looks a little big on my wrist, but not as large as the original baby G watches would. Unlike other reviewers, I like how the watch only has a touch of stainless steel.

I am happy with my purchase and always love shopping on Amazon!

***someone said there was no manual, but I found a small booklet in the bottom of the watch box underneath some cardboard. If you can't find it, go to the Casio site and it's there

I brought this watch for my wife as a gift for her birth date and she loved it!
It its very nice and stylish, it does have a little bit of metal witch is perfect because she has allergies to certain metals and that was an issue in the past, but not with this watch. The stencils are very soft and comfortable. The light glows purple the numbers are nice and clear and it has just the right amount of features. I highly recommend it!

I bought this model to replace another Bulova. This is my third, and each has lasted through several years of not-so-gentle treatment. My watches routinely are subjected to the abuses associated with submersion in lakes, rivers, oceans, hot tubs, swimming pools, etc. My Bulova's have always held up well from shallow pools to 100 feet down in the ocean. The luminescent hands and markers are very helpful in low/no light situations. Mine never stay like new for long, but they have held up well and have always kept good time. For the average wearer, or anyone that is more careful to take it off in situations that could be harmful, they will continue to look and work great for years. My one complaint about the watch I received is that the second hand doesn't line up perfectly with the minute markers. It is slightly off, which made it difficult to judge when it was at the 12:00 position (needed for setting time/date). Other than that picky complaint, I really like my new Bulova. For the money, it is a great looking and performing watch. I shopped quite a bit, both online and in stores before this purchase, and I found nothing that looked any better for the price. I have received numerous compliments on the watch in the short time that I have had it (one month). Having worn them for 15+ years, they haven't let me down yet.

I was seriously impressed with the size of this watch. It was gorgeous coming out of the box and it feels great on the wrist. Very heavy upon first holding it however on the wrist the balance is unbelievable. Does not feel heavy on at all. Definitely gets attention, swiss made movement, The case thickness is a bit overwhelming if your not used to oversized watches. This is my first oversized watch but once you get used to it you don't even realize it anymore until someone stares at your wrist and asks about the timepiece and where you got it from. GMT model, keeps time very accurately. Never had a GMT and i love the second time zone feature. I would definitely recommend this watch to someone looking for a touneau shaped watch, oversized, rubber strap. Very sporty!!!

Keeps time very accurately and feels rugged. The numbers are easy to read. Has now been smashed into the side of a tree, which only scratched the surface glass a little bit, and submerged just above the surface of the water with no ill effects on the workings of the watch. The only complaint I have is the seconds hand does not land on the number lines but instead stops right before them. Took a little getting used to at first but is consistent in stopping at the same spot with every line so not a huge problem. I would definitely buy another one if it were on sale.

nice g, my sister enjoy the baby-g just one thing to consider is that the numbers are white so is hard to see.

Almost, but No Cigar - Naruto -
This watch's soft, plastic, white pieces around the wristband have become discolored. The white paint on the face of the watch is coming off around the top and bottom of the ring which made it old and shabby looking after a few months. The silver numbers are hard to read against the white background.

On a positive note, I am hard on my watches and this one is still going strong. It displays time both digitally and with analog hands. The hands are glow-in-the-dark and the watch also comes with an orange backlight if you want to see more clearly in the dark. The ring on the face of the watch does not catch my hair which is a huge concern for me when I'm buying a watch. The wristband is durable and all the little buttons are relatively easy to understand if you read the manual.

I bought this watch in April 2010 and I love it. I wear a suit to work every day and I needed a watch that would work just as well in that setting as it would swimming, camping or working outside in the yard. I have received many compliments on the watch, and I particularly like the fact that it is a quality brand that I grew up with as a kid in the boy scouts. Only thing I would caution folks on is that the black metal case is easily scratched. The face however is impossible to scratch.

The RW Sport line consists of large, heavy quartz watches in polished stainless steel cases with various complications (chronograph, second time zone, big date) and bracelet styles. This model has an unusual and attractive concentric 30 minute/12 hour chronograph and a large date window. The tachymetre and 1/5 second markings are mainly decorative, since this is a quartz watch that can only stop at full seconds. When the chronograph is not in use, there is no moving second hand at all, so you are not constantly reminded of the plebian quartz movement. Chronograph pushers work well, it feels indestructible, and it's 200m water resistant.

It's large (44mm) and even heavier than expected but well finished with a beautiful bracelet (you will need a jeweler's screwdriver to size it). The chronograph is hard to read quickly but as a timepiece it is very legible and I like the big date window. I wear this every day, I can shower or wash dishes in it, and although it lacks the charm (and maintenance cost)of a mechanical movement it is fairly priced for a Swiss made chronograph.

Yes, this is a grey market watch, meaning only that Amazon is not an authorized dealer. It's also a great price on the real deal (and the serial number wasn't removed despite some commentary about this in some of the forums), with all brand new Cartier packaging, etc. You can't beat the price; this was less even than several used Tank Francaises I looked at. If you want to pay full price, go ahead, but this is a great deal on the real thing, with an Amazon two year warranty instead of Cartier. That is the ONLY difference. Also fast shipping. I ordered at 6 PM and it was waiting for me in my office the very next morning when I arrived at 9 AM. That's service!

I bought a Cartier Women's Tank Francaise Stainless Steel Watch #W51008Q3 on Jan.2,2010. This watch didn't work normally: It sometimes stopped , and often didn't run exactly, so I think it isn't worth the expensive price.

I bought this watch for my girlfriend and she loves it. Took it to the Cartier boutique to have it sized and it is perfect. I don't know why the person from the previous post could not get service, but if you go to the boutique, they will service it.

I got this watch from Amazon as a gift from my husband a few months ago. Last month, we found that there was a 0-400 problem with the circuitry. Our watch store told us to have the repair fixed under the warranty. I called Amazon with the gift receipt in hand but I did not have the exact price so they refused to honor the warranty. I don't know how you can have the exact price if you get the watch as a gift. My husband found his original receipt but Amazon refused to honor the warranty when he called with all the required information. He just got the run around on line in India for 20 minutes . It is not worth it. Buy from an authorized dealer.
